CSX: Foote to Retire, Hinrichs to Take Throttle (UPDATED)

CSX on Sept. 15 reported that as “part of a planned succession process,” Joseph R. Hinrichs will become President and CEO, succeeding James M. Foote, effective Sept. 26

Foote, CSX said, will retire from the top leadership roles, as well well as from the Board, but will remain with the Class I railroad through March 31, 2023 as an advisor “to facilitate a seamless leadership transition.”
