So let them believe that you lost the game,
confusing your quiet with cowardice or fright;
they carry the hollow weight of a name,
while you guard the citadel, whole in the night.
Better to sit in the dust and be free,
unmoved by the laughter, untamed by the rod,
a failure in the eyes that refuse to see,
