Matthew McConaughey plays Mother Father of all creation and their daughter Jessica Chastain plays Luna in the movie


MomDad taught Luna the basics about the galaxies since she was little. One day out driving, she brought them to the headquarters of NASA


When earth got into trouble, MomDad volunteered to be the pilot for a spaceship, top in their game to travel to space to find an alternative planet as home for humanity as earth became uninhabitable


They stayed young in space, brought an astronaut to life in their spacecraft, and also saved the antichrist, who attempted to blow them up


After many decades of finding a suitable planet, it hit them that they were living in different realms than earth and could not save earth anymore so they used morse codes to contact Luna who was on earth to save earth


Luna grew up to be a scientist devoted to reunite with MomDad and the mission of saving humanity. After some years into her adulthood, she finally realized MomDad were using codes from their time spent living together to guide her to complete the mission


The movie ends with Luna in her old age where she has solved the codes and managed to save MomDad, they returned to earth to reunite with Luna after many decades without aging, saw that the house they lived together has turned into a museum and a spaceship named after their family name. Luna chuckled as she recounts that humanity didn't believe her yet she managed to complete the mission


Luna was reassured seeing MomDad and asked them to go to space to reunite with Mother of all creation, played by Anne Hathaway who is building on another planet
